CONFLICT RESOLUTION

Course Description

Because of the differences we share as human beings, conflict, at some time in our life, is inevitable. This class is designed to help each of us identify the positive and negative aspects (or characteristics) of conflict and learn skills that will help us resolve conflict in a manner that is beneficial to all parties involved.

At the end of this class you will be able to:

  • Define conflict and confrontation

  • Understand the reasons for conflict

  • Apply skills to resolve conflict

  • Understand the attributes of group conflict

  • Use communication skills to diffuse a conflict or confrontation
