Course: SCHOOL CRISIS RESPONSE, TRAIN-THE TRAINER-PROGRAM Course Description How prepared are you and your schools in the event of a crisis? Is your state, region, school district or community ready for a uniform, effective, simplified, proven model for School Crisis Response Programs? Do you have people with expertise in school systems and/or emergency response systems who would like to increase their knowledge and be prepared to present quality workshops and technical assistance on crisis response? At the end of this course, you will be able to:
Train-the-Trainer Design The training of trainers design builds on the expertise of the participants and combines solid teaching strategies with easy to understand materials. The key points of each module are highlighted and various methods of presenting are identified. The workshop agenda is in module format so trainers can present it in the suggested format or use flexibility and adjust from 1 hour to 1 day.
This Train-the-Trainers course doesn’t end when the two days are over: As a registered trainer, you will receive periodic updates and future opportunities from our Staff. Our staff will be available to you by phone or email for technical assistance and troubleshooting at no cost for the first year. Materials: Trainers will leave the course with a package of materials that includes two highly acclaimed books on School Crisis Response, a CD of the PowerPoint presentations, a Trainer Guide with easy to follow instructions for each slide, and masters of all participant materials. This $299.00 value is included free.
