MANAGING THE 21ST CENTURY WORKFORCE

Course Description:

Employees of all age groups, value systems, and lifestyles are defining the workplace environment. Traditional work values are tested by the role of managers, employee/employer loyalty, technical competence, etc. Life style preferences, social values, and age diversity are issues that must be managed correctly.

At the completion of this class, you will be able to:

  • Understand workplace characteristics of different employee age groups

  • Identify cross generational lifestyle social and motivational differences

  • Understand communication styles

  • Apply customized training modes

  • Encourage and mentor cross generational employees
